This is one of the many fantastic parks in the greater Portland area. I have spent countless hours, biking from park to park, enjoying them all. This one is at the top of my favorites. As a baby penguin chick, I could not remember the names of all the parks. I created a color code for the parks I liked. For reasons only known to this penguin, I chose green for this park. Maybe, it was because of the play structure further in the park, from this location?
Your GPSr might bounce a little especially in the summer months, muggles every where. My hope is you will still find it to be a fun one or at least a nice resting point as you work the multicaches in the area.
So bring the whole family and enjoy this wonderful park. Who knows on any given day you might see a penguin in the park or even a whole rookery!....the family likes to picnic here often!
