This cache is placed with the permission of the lovely owners of the nearby vineyard. PLEASE respect their property hours of Wed - Sun, 12 - 6 PM.
We decided to merge two loves -- geocaching and tasting of local wines. This is our very first cache placement, and we are excited to share with you a lovely spot in Fincastle, VA. The vineyard is surrounded by the Blue Ridge Mountains to the east and the Alleghany Mountains to the west. It is located fourteen miles north of Interstate 81, just off route 220 outside the center of Historic Fincastle.
We placed this cache at the start of the spring, hence the name. We hope you enjoy the views and the find.
You are looking for a medium sized plastic container with plenty of room for swag and TBs.
