Geocache Description:

This cache brings you to a beautiful, serene place on flat land between the Wicklow hills & the Irish Sea. Located 2 km east of Newcastle, Co. Wicklow, the East Coast Nature Reserve on Sea Road is a wonderful habitat for birds & other wildlife. There are huts for birdwatchers to observe resident & visiting birds. The huts are open to all and posters provide helpful info to novice birdwatchers, young and old! Newcastle beach is worth a visit at the end of Sea Road.

The cache is located on the road, close to the entrance to the Bird Sanctuary. If you visit the Sanctuary, be sure to tell us of any birds or other wildlife you spot on your visit!
