Geocache Description:

Welcome to Beyer Cemetery. You will be looking for a camofluaged pill bottle with a log (BYOP). Container is hidden along the boundary of the cemetery. Please RESPECT the site and no caching from dusk to dawn.


This cemetery was established in 1872 by the Beyer (Baier) family.  The Beyer's were among the first Lutheran Germans to inhabit McCracken County in the 1800's.  There journey from New Orleans to Indiana, stopped by an ice jam along the Ohio River in 1845.
