The cache itself is relatively easy to get to and easy to find but the hike required to complete this adventure is a bit more difficult.
This is not a typical cache with trinkets to take home. The treasure in this cache is a list of coordinates to a 27 point hike that will take you in and around "East Peak" and "West Peak" in an area called "The Hanging Hills", formed by extinct volcanoes centuries ago. You'll see some of the best scenic overlooks in central Connecticut and your legs will bear witness to an altitude change of over 4000 feet (up & down). There are several copies of the list in the cache, with all the coordinates you need to complete this GPS trek. The cache itself is an easy 1 star cache but the hike is challenging in spots.
