Shanhua Sugar Refinery
善化糖廠

善化糖廠始於1904年創辦的「台南製糖株式会社」，於1909年被「台湾製糖株式会社」收購，改稱為「灣裡製糖所」，1945年後改稱「灣裡糖廠」，最後於1961年改稱「善化糖廠」至今。

目前善化糖廠是嘉義以南地區，唯一繼續壓榨甘蔗製糖的廠區。

Shanhua Sugar Refinery was bulit in 1904. Its original name was "Tainan Sugar Company." This company was bought by Taiwan Sugar Company in 1904 and the refinery was re-named to "Wanri Sugar Refinery." After World War II, its name was changed to "Waanlei Sugar Refinery." In 1961, it was re-named to Shanhua Sugar Refinery.

Shanhua Sugar Refinery is the only sugar refinery which keep to refine sugar from canes in southern Taiwan.
