Geocache Description:

Within the Sharon Burying Ground - Circa 1813.

Final resting place of many members of the Children of Peace - Builders of Sharon Temple
and most notably David Willson their founder.
Also several well known local names such as James Lundy a Civil War member of the 70th New York Volunteers who died on Sept. 10, 1864 at David's Island Hospital in New York harbour of typhoid fever contracted at Vicksburg, VA.

This is a replacement for GC2GBF4 Joel Hill RIP as the Burying Ground Commitee asked for it to be moved to minimize the possibility of any damage to the gravestones particularly in the winter when many of the smaller stones could be buried under snow.

The posted coords will take you to a marker that we in the geocaching community will find unique.

To find the cache:
Count the large letters on the gravestone = A  subtract A/1000 from the North posted coords
The alphabet position of the 1st letter on the gravestone +1 = B  add B/1000 to the posted West coords

Please - No visits at night
