One for masonriou67 Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

WiFi902: This was a fun hide. It was a 1kg pb container that gathered 7 DNFs before hirtle and RFR found it. (I know of a couple dnf that didn't get logged). It had many DNF while active and was never muggled or ever went missing. It was in an old hollowed out tree on the slope at GZ but was way up inside the tree and was only reachable if you put your arm up into the tree cavity as far as you could. It's fitting that the three logs preceding this one were DNFs. It had a good run.

Geocache Description:

This is one for masonriou67. This cache is covered in black duct tape and has 3 containers in all. Each container is inside the other and the middle one is none other than, what else, of course, a mason jar!

I recently met masonriou67 at an event. This young man is extremely enthusiastic about geocaching and I am told he found his first 100+ caches without a GPS. He only used maps, compass, hints, and intel to find these caches. That's pretty impressive. I didn't realize until last week that back in January I found the first cache that Mason placed called Christmas cache [http://coord.info/GC43A8J]. Mason has placed caches for people, which I thought was really nice, so I have decided to place one for him. This is a surprise so I hope the attention isn't unwelcomed. There isn't too many young people involved in geocaching so you stand out in the crowd masonriou67. FTF prize is a fifty dollar bill. No, the bill isn't CAD or USD. I am also putting a toonie in the cache for the FTF. The bill is a momento and the toonie will get you a beverage. Enjoy the cache and enjoy the smiley!!!

Please place the cache back exactly as you found it. Thanks!

Please post your DNF's!! When a cache owner see's a few DNF's in a row they will check the cache to make sure it is still properly hidden!! Don't go thinking that you lack skill in finding caches. The problem might be that there is no cache there to find. It takes DNF posts for cache owners to know there might be a problem. Thanks!
