Geocache Description:

Barrel Spring is only one of numerous springs that converge in the small town of Ponce de Leon.
Locally known as “Poncy”, it was once a prosperous and famous health resort founded back in 1882.
The community actually had a resort named after the explorer Juan Ponce de Leon, and the town was named for this resort.
While all the health resorts are long gone, the springs continue to flow.
Back in its hey-day, Poncy had a blacksmith shop, drug store, distillery, hotel, bank, doctor, high school, mercantile establishments, and of course, several bathhouses.
Today, aside from the few homes in the area, the only thing to be found is a post office.
Poncy is also the convergence point for 3 springs, Cook, Barrel, and the Fountain of Youth spring.
For bonus points after finding the cache you should consider traveling north up Medical Springs Road from the cache to intersect with Goff Creek Road in town, then follow it east to HWY 160. This road runs right alongside Goff Creek(on and off), and makes for a more scenic drive out of the area.
Goff Creek is more like one big spring, as it's created by several smaller springs that are in the area.
Finding this cache should be no problem(especially with the hint) and parking is as easy as it gets, with a half-circle drive to have you safely off the road.
Since this roadside attraction can get busy at times, I'd suggest waiting out the muggles until they leave before beginning your search.
I tried to do my best at taking coordinates when hiding the cache, but having rock walls on two sides of me may have them(and your gps) off a bit. See hint if need be.
You will be searching for a small camoed test tube that is wired to a rock.
Also, don't forget your pen, and be sure to replace the rock back on top of the cache so it doesn't fall loose from its hiding place.
Most importantly, have a barrel of fun with this cache!!
