Geocache Description:

**Congrats to Family Ties for the FTF**

Welcome to Sarah Spencer Park

Sarah was a local resident who resided near by. She was very involved in many things in the community; she volunteered with St. John Ambulance, was a founding member of the Leo Club, was a leader in Girl Guides and Sparks and a member of the Ontario Students Against Impaired Driving group.

For her involvements in the community she received the Dawn Cowan Memorial Volunteer Recognition Award as well as the Connie Dickey Youth Award.

Sarah unfortunately was born with a heart condition and passed away at the young age of 21. But anyone who was lucky enough to have known her or met her easily realized what an amazing, sweet and kind hearted person she was.

On the east side of the park is a lovely memorial garden for Sarah. Feel free to take a look around, it is a pretty spot in the Summer.

The cache: easy find but can be tricky as this is a very high muggle area. Especially in the mornings and late afternoons by students going and coming from school and by children and parents during the warmer months. Please place the cache exactly back as found so it is not visible to muggles. Bring a pen!
