There once was a family of crayons. They lived in a box under a girl's bed. Her name was Wendy.
Wendy loved to draw. She drew pictures of birds, fish, flowers, and animals. Every time she drew, she used her special box of crayons under her bed.
However, there was one crayon that she never used. It was a white crayon named Wilfred. Wilfred felt sad because he was never even taken out of the box.
"I wish someone would color with me," Wilfred said sadly. "Don't worry Wilfred, your time will come," said Ricky, the red crayon. But Wilfred didn't feel any better.
