We hope to see many new teams as well as our regular friends! Inspired by the Quick Cuppa (QC) Events in Pretoria, Team_vdlo and GEO936 decided to host similar Events in and around Johannesburg throughout the year.
Called "Quick Social" or "QS" Events. These will be Kid Friendly, mostly on a Saturday and for just a few hours in the morning or afternoon.
Thank you to other cachers, Sonsoekster, Macaddikt, BruceTP, Wildbirds, ThomasfamilyZA, Team Ginger and Damhuisclan for stepping in and helping with hosting Events as part of this series.
QS Picnicing in Ernest
Please Note: This event will again take place on a SUNDAY, to give cachers who work on a Saturday (or due to school sport), a chance to attend an event during the day!
Special thanks to john.gaydon and PackScouter, for telling us about this place and helping with co-ords, etc. Please come and join us for a relaxing mid-morning/early-afternoon out at a great place. This place is a hidden gem, but thanks to geocaching, it is now on the map! There is space for the kids to run around or fly a kite. But you can just come along to relax.
Bring along your picnic basket and enjoy the warm winter sunshine with us. We'll bring along the usual set up for hot tea and coffee.
