Geocache Description:

A series of caches created by Alaska Cariboozer and SnowySwan placed by recommended nurseries/greenhouses called Begonias & Dahlias.  Begonias and Dahlias are easy to plant and care for and are grown from tubers which you can overwinter, divide and propogate, offering the frugal gardener a wealth of massive blooms both this season and in those to come, without a lot of hassle or a hefty price tag.  Happy Planting!

This is the nursery SnowySwan always went to with her mom as a kid.  I'm sure she got our first carrot and strawberry seeds here for the Eagle River backyard garden.  (Amazingly, somehow in the 70's and 80's there weren't moose or rabbits around to eat the small vegetables in our modest plot.)  After a lovely stroll through the nursery this morning, I purchased some carrot seeds today for AlaskaCariboozer and I to try in our garden this year.  This nursery is open year round and is a nice place to choose a Christmas tree as well as your summer vegetables and hanging baskets.  They also have a healthy selection of roses for the summer (go in sooner than later!) and houseplants all year.  This cache is easy to find and so shouldn't need any hint.  Happy Gardening!
