Zg.Kungota je občinsko središče oz. sedež občine Kungota. V to vaško skupnost so strnjena 4 naselja: Kozjak - del, Plintovec, Zg. Kungota, Sp. Vrtiče. V zgodovini je bilo ime naselja omenjeno že v 13. stol. v povezavi s cerkvijo sv. Kunigunde.
Ta zaklad je le del prelepih kolesarskih in pohodniških poti tukaj okrog in v širši Mariborski regiji. In zagotovo si bo vsak našel kakšno kolesarsko ali pohodniško pot in bo tako lahko užival v lepotah narave. Tudi mene velikokrat zanese tukaj mimo oz. skozi te kraje, predvsem s kolesom. In v vseh letnih časih se v teh krajih najde marsikaj lepega za pogledat. In verjamem,da to ne bo edini zaklad tukaj okrog ;-)..saj iz malega raste veliko... :-)

( ENG ) Zg.Kungota is the center of Kungota county seat. This village community are summarized four villages: Kozjak - part, Plintovec, Zg. Kungota and Sp. Vrtiče. In the history the village's name was mentioned in the 13th century in connection with the Church of St. Kunigunde. This treasure is only a part of the beautiful cycling and hiking trails around here and in the wider region of Maribor and Pohorje. And surely you will find some cycling or hiking trails and you will be able to enjoy the beauty of nature. And in all seasons of the year in these areas you will find many beautiful points to look at. And this cache will not be the only cache around here;-)
