Geocache Description:

Parts of this trail can be muddy with a few puddles if its recently rained, otherwise is a nice trial! Trout Geo Coin for the FTF! Happy Caching!  

Take a short stroll around the beautiful Ashe Lake and explore the many fishing nooks! Great nature viewing area! Truly peaceful & great to experience the quiet outdoors! There is a small $3 fee via "honor box" to enter this area but is totally worth it! This area is kept in excellent condition!  A perfect place to fish & has a wheel chair accessible fishing pier, 2 disc golf courses, Bathrooms, pick nick tables & B.Q. grills. I often stop off here to refill my canteen!  My grandmother who graduated from Forest County Agricltural High School in 1946 told me that this was the place that all the local H.Schoolers; "Aggies" hung out.
