Geocache Description:

Visit the Forest Resource Education Center (FREC) to be a forester for a day and a steward for life!
 

The 660 acre property can be used for recreational activities.

The FREC strives to teach and practice forest stewardship — managing New Jersey's forest resources so that we have healthy trees and forests, clean air and water, and places to learn and enjoy the outdoors.

The FREC provides free environmental education programs to groups of all ages. The FREC teaches forest stewardship at the Fall Forestry Festival and other special events to families, girl scouts, and boy scouts. FREC includes an Interpretive Center for environmental education and the New Jersey State Forest Nursery which grows seedlings for reforestation.

Easy, family friendly cache. Come inside the Interpretive Center and learn out New Jersey's Forests!
