Geocache Description:

Geocaching Pub Night at Hose and Hound May 4, 2013 at 6pm. We have booked the upstairs room so come on up and enjoy the company of Calgary's finest...geocachers.

Spend some time chatting with your fellow geocachers immersed in historical Inglewood. The building, initially built in 1907 as Calgary Firehall #3 and was used as such until the newer firetrucks outgrew it in 1952. Since then it has served various functions which reflect the state of the Inglewood area. It was thoroughly gutted in 1982 to use as a fine dining restaurant though that idea may have been a little ambitious for the state of the area at that time. After several more changes of ownership, Firehall #3 became a pub and that seemed to serve the area much better.

While we love your children, please leave those that are under 18 at home as the Hose and Hound does indeed have a 'no minors' policy in accordance with Alberta Liquor Laws. Give them a hug and tip your babysitter well. See you soon!
