La capacidad del estadio es de 45.500 espectadores. También se conoce como "La Bombonera" (más habitual para referirse al Estadio Alberto J. Armando, sede del Boca Juniors) o "La Bombonera de Nervión" dado que se encuentra en el barrio de Nervión.
