Belair Maze
There was a cache here years ago, 'aMAZEing' I don't seem to be able to find it in my Gsak, I mustn't have found it before being archived!
Anyways....
This maze is one of only few of it's types left in the world and is currently undergoing a labourious and lengthy restoration. I think mainly due to the type of trees being used for the hedge.
Recently the funding/grant for the work was withdrawn. Some local volunteers are endeavouring to maintain the restoration at their own expense.
After your visit here you may like to visit the cafe on Sheoak Rd, just up the hill, and see more detail about the history of the maze. There is a donation tin there also.
At the entrance to the maze there is a plaque with some history on it also.

The year the maze was originally planted minus 1848. Add this answer to the South start coords.
The year the restored maze was opened minus 1953. Take this answer from the East start coords.
The cache is outside the maze fence, so there is no need to 'follow the arrow' and go through fences, please go around!
****NOTICE**** As of 20th April 2015 the GZ final has been altered slightly to save the cache from drowning, thanks to Froghoppin.
