Mason Falls can be quite wondrous sometimes a litte boring but always beautiful.
Another 100m on to the new lookout, rebuilt after the fire. I couldn't find a good hiding spot up closer and will hopefully have an earth cache their. I hope you have enjoyed the walk down here and the views into the gorge / valley. This cache is better to do in the morning as it can be quite glary in the afternoon sun.
I have walked in the valley in my fitter days looking for lyrebird nests and I reckon all these slopes now look steeper. Certainly no off track walking.
Access gate closed to vehicles for the night.
The attributes are an exaggeration, as parks Victoria would not have opened up the area if their was risks. It is more just take care. Some of the surfaces away from the track still haven't settled after the fire.
