This cache location used to be a dead end road, with mostly hunting camps and logging access past this point. As such, it was a favorite spot for some of us on a hot summer night to build a bonfire and hang out all night. Back then we called the pond Martin Swamp. I don't know when it became Beaver Pond, but there's definitely Beaver's in it now.
Hopefully, this will be the first of many caches around this loop. Enjoy the outdoors area and bring bug dope in the warm months. Please respect the posted property nearby.
