Gypsum Jetty II Traditional Cache
S_J_P: I’m disabling my caches as I’ve become disenchanted due to the bickering, moaning, and criticising which now seems
rife amongst the community. Geocaching is a great game and shouldn’t be taken too seriously.

A 7x3cm plastic sample pot just off the Saxon Shore Way.
The original cache had been washed away twice so this Mk.II version is a completely different beast, award yourself a moral new-find or FTF if you find/refind it!
The surrounding area has been (and still is) a working docks, over the years an number of industries have moved in (and out) of the area, but the marshy conditions preclude its development. Curerently there’s a papermill, a plasterboard manufacturer, a bottled gas distributer, a transport company, and a steel distributer who are located in the area. Watch out for men in Hi-Vis working on the Jetty, after a number of thefts from the area they can be a little suspicious of people ferreting about ;-) GZ is almost around the corner from them so you should be able to remain stealthy.
Supplemental access information added March 2014:-
I advise you to access the cache via the seawall footpath from the North (it crosses Ridham Road at N51º22.66' E 0º45.45') around 0.7m away or from the South where the new Creek Crossing is located (N51º21.26' E0º45.29') around 1.25m away, do not access via the gated private roadway at N51º22.22' E0º45.30'
