The cache is placed very near the village of Ano Asites. It marks the beginning of the hike to the “Prinos” Refuge, which is situated about 600 m higher and belongs to the Mountaineering Club of Heraklion – www.eos-her.gr
The cache is an easy drive-in cache. You don’t have to climb anywhere to get it, only to stretch yourself a little bit! Please mind the muggles around!
Ano Asites is on the E4 European Trail. The cache is part of the E4 CTC (Cretan Trail Caches) series that plans to place geocaches along the whole E4 trail across the island of Crete.

Η κρύπτη είναι τοποθετημένη πολύ κοντά στο χωριό Άνω Ασίτες. Eίναι κρυμμένη στην αρχή της πεζοπορίας προς το Καταφύγιο «Πρίνος» που βρίσκεται περίπου 600 μέτρα ψηλότερα και ανήκει στον Ορειβατικό Σύλλογο Ηρακλείου - www.eos-her.gr
Η κρύπτη είναι εύκολη drive-in. Δεν χρειάζεται να σκαρφαλώσετε πουθενά για να τη βρείτε, μόνο να τεντωθείτε λιγάκι! Προσέχετε ποιος σας παρακολουθεί από γύρω!
Οι Άνω Ασίτες είναι πάνω στο Ευρωπαϊκό Μονοπάτι Ε4. Η κρύπτη είναι μέρος της σειράς E4 CTC που φιλοδοξεί να καλύψει με κρύπτες όλο το μήκος του Ε4 από το ανατολικό ως το δυτικό άκρο της Κρήτης.
