Mostly flat trail thru the woods right along the water although often quite high above the waterline. Wooded with tall trees, shady and cool. Frequent vistas of the lake.
Sandwich-size rubbermaid hide with swag very near a lovely year-around waterfall and a good stout bridge. From the parking area marked by the sign that indicates SPILLWAY FISHING ACCESS you can reach the cache or go west on the trail and visit the dam itself.
