This cache has been archived.

bcgirl70: This cache has been out for 10+ years. I went out with now 17 year old Ben to grab it so new people can put a cache out in this location.

Geocache Description:

This cache is located just off the Rail Trail in the Beaver Lodge Lands.  It is closer to the Hilchey end of the trail, but can be approached from either direction.  It is about 10 meters down a side trail that doesn't really go anywhere.  It is a very popular area for joggers, mountain bikers, dog walkers and sometimes, horseback riders.  We have been walking in this trail since our oldest was a baby.

You may wonder why a "Little Shark Cache" is hidden in the woods and not on the beach.  I asked my 6-year old, Ben, who was responsible for gathering treasures and hiding this cache.  His reply was that his favourite animals were sharks.  He included shark treasures and a shark travel bug, along with other items, so it could be a shark cache.  But the container was camo-ed for the forest, so it had to be hidden in the forest, obviously! He had so much fun putting together the items and searching for the hiding spot.

The new cache is a cammo'd jar with new log, a few tradeables and a new travel bug to begin journeying. The 6 year old is now 10 and wasn't ready to archive his cache, so we are putting it out again, in a 10-year old spot.
