Setting up 5 caches on the road to Les Chutes Lavoie on the occasion of our Cache In - Trash Out event on April 21 2013. Cache contains log and pencil, but bring your own just in case. Keep on going to the falls, which is a beautiful area and there is another cache there.
Série de 5 caches sur le chemin en route pour Les Chutes Lavoie lors de l'évènement Cache In - Trash Out du 21 avril 2013. Cache contient log book et crayon mais apportez le vôtre au cas ou. Faites certain de vous rendre aux chutes, c'est très beau et en plus il y a une cache là.
Take Exit 21 on the Trans Canada Highway (Rte 2) at Saint-Basile. Going East just off the exit, there is a gravel road immediately on the right. Take this road until you reach a junction indicating ATV routes. On the right is the Winter Only ATV route. This is the correct route to take. There are 5 caches along this road and one at the very picturesque 7 small falls in the Lavoie brook. You can access the site on foot, by ATV or even by Jeep, and with snowshoes in the winter time.
Prendre la sortie 21 sur la route Trans Canadienne à Saint-Basile et dirigez vous vers l'est. Immédiatement en sortant de la sortie, il y a une route non pavée à la droite. Prenez cette route jusqu'à ce que vous arrivez à une jonction qui indique deux routes de VTT. Prenez celle à droite qui est indiqueé (Hiver Seulement). Il y a 5 caches le long de la route et une aux 7 chutes du Ruisseau Lavoie, un endroit très pittoresque. Accessible en été par la marche, en VTT ou même en Jeep. Accessible l'hiver en raquettes.
