This is an Enchanted forest in which the fairy folk dwell, take your time, enjoy the magic this place has to offer. From the main entrance go left on the main path and then take your first left onto the bridle path loop trail. Bring tweezers and a pen.
What to bring: Tweezers, a pen, a small bit of treasure which sticks with the antique treasure bits theme I have going on in the main cache, bug spray. Please note there are two entrances onto the bridle loop trail. You want the first one on the left when coming from the main entrance.
Once on the bridle path loop trail it's up hill a ways and then level for a ways. Get to a large fork and go right. At the next fork go left. Pass a big old knotty tree on right and you are close to the first cache. The coordinates for the first cache are N 43 12.4067 W 70 48.7134. Follow your GPS to the first cache which is a nano (small) metal cache with a skrew on lid hidden close to the path (About 10 feet from the path) hanging from a dead tree stump (on the left side of the path) a little above waist level. Not a lot of bushwhacking to find the first cache. Be sure to bring a pen and some tweezers to extract the rolled up coordinates inside the first cache which will lead you to the treasure cache (the second and final cache). Please put this back well so that others may find it. The second (and final) cache is about 300 feet South-West from the first cache in a small square lock and lock container. FTF gets their pick of any part of the exquisite shiny treasure in there, some of the things are: A wearable foreign coin, a skeleton key pin and antique brass buttons. Please try to bring something to add to the cache which follows the theme: antique and shiny treasure. Should be small enough to fit in a small container.
