Geocache Description:

This is a lovely surprise urban forest with rapid stream and many trails. Cache is two lbs coffee can and 1 gallon plastic bucket covered with protective baggies. Some previous "cachers" never even knew this Forest Preserve existed, and have returned just to have lunch.

This is in the middle of a medium sized city. It is an easy drive to; but an unexpected pocket of wilderness and a VERY pleasant walk/hike(city shoes are not advised). There has been a problem with Vandal kids; but all "cachers" finders have had such positive/nice things to say that this cache will live no matter what. The contents have had super stuff plus four "Travel Bugs" and on 10-18-03 added one gallon plastic bucket for overflow. This was not meant to be a multi-cache; but, maybe it was meant to teach(again) adjustments in life. Also, this is the first cache where a number of "old timmers" cachers said they met another Geocacher on the trail. Sure hope to meet all of you on the trail someday.
