Geocache Description:

[GENERAL ABOUT THE SERIES]
This cache is part of a series of six traditionals placed along a lovely road between Färlöv and Fjälkestad. A director of the National road administration once even named it the most beautiful in the province of Skåne. That may be somewhat exaggerating, but is of course a matter of subjective taste. All of the six caches have a clue at blue paper for a mystery bonus cache (“Väg 2041/2052”), also placed along the road.

Torsebro

Primärt avser Torsebro en bro över Helge å. Ortnamnsforskningen räknar med en förkortad form av bynamnet Torseke i förleden (det vill säga en förkortning av "Torsekebro"). Torsekes ägor sträckte sig ner till bron och norrut till ett område där det tidigare fanns ett flertal vattenmöllor/kvarnar.

Numera används namnet Torsebro om ett område vid Helge å med de gamla kvarnlämningarna på båda sidor, och framför allt om villabebyggelsen däromkring. Det är ett naturskönt område och om somrarna är det välbesökta utomhusbadet öppet.

Var koncentrerad, försiktig och rädd om dig när du letar upp gömman. Gör inget som du inte vet att du klarar. När det är vått är det halt. Jag hade ingen kanonbra mottagning när jag tog koordinater, men med hjälp av hinten och D/T-gradering så bör du hitta till rätt plats.

Primarily Torsebro concerns a bridge over the Helge River. Place name research expects a shortened form of the hamlet name Torseke in the prefix (ie an abbreviation of "Torsekebro" = the bridge close to the hamlet Torseke). The lands of Torseke actually stretched down to the bridge and north to the area where several water mills were situated.

Nowadays the name Torsebro is an area with residential buildings in a beautiful setting near Helge River and with the structure of the old water mills around it. During summertime the popular outdoor bath is open.

Be concentrated and careful about yourself when you look for the cache. Don't try anything you are not sure to handle. Slippery when wet! I did not have a great GPS reception when I took the coordinates, but with the help from the hint and the D/T-rating, you should be able to find it in any case.
