Geocache Description:

J Challenge

The Challenge:

The cache is at the posted coordinates but in order to log it you must meet the challenge requirements first.

In order to qualify for this challenge you must do the following:

Your mission if you decide to accept it is to drive from Wisconsin, a state that borders Canada to the Gulf Coast, or vise-versa.

THIS IS INTENDED TO BE A ROAD TRIP (no flying). You must "hit the road" and find a cache in at least seven states in one day, but there is a twist. Along with your seven states you MUST find a cache in Wisconsin AND any one of these three states; Alabama, Mississippi, or Louisiana.

Verification:

For this challenge, you need to verify that you qualify by providing a list of at least 7 different states and caches you found on the SAME DAY. Along with your seven states you MUST find a cache in Wisconsin AND any one of these three states; Alabama, Mississippi, or Louisiana.

Can it be done? Have we done it? You bet we have! We set out just after 4:00 am on Wednesday April 3rd. We grabbed our first cache in Minnesota at 4:36 AM CST and headed toward Wisconsin. We moved on to find caches in WI, IA, MO, IL, KY, TN, and AL. We logged our final cache in Alabama at 8:32:00 PM CST. 15 hours 8 mins and 887 total miles. Here is my list:

04/03/2013

1) GC4325A CC Christmas Cache - Minnesota
2) GC4287J Romonas sweet cache - Wisconsin
3) GC3V1PX Trickling Water - Iowa
4) GC1T965 Well Rounded MO Cacher (Fizzy Challenge) - Missouri
5) GC1403R Forgotten History: The Great River Road - Illinois
6) GC3FBG2 traders - Kentucky
7) GCJ7V9 Sango Park and Find - Tennessee
8) GCT7M0 Teary-Eyed Trail - Alabama

NOTE: After we found Alabama we headed into Georgia and found our ninth state at 9:49 PM CST
