If I would have known about geocaching when I was a kid, I would have thought this area was a perfect spot for a cache.
Coords are jumpy under the trees.
Container is originally loaded up with swag, some good, some stuff we got at the local thrift store! AND a travel bug wanting to get back to England.
Will probably be quite a bit more difficult in winter and in the dark! Feel free to do come CITO as well in this area, it may need it!
I grew up on this street. 15th Ave NE. It used to be called Heather St if I remember correctly.
There used to be only 2 houses on this street and it was just a gravel road that ended into a path right where this wooded area starts.
North of the street was an apple orchard owned by Hannas where the senior housing is (Hillside village). Then west was just a big field that we rode snowmobiles and went sledding in the winter. Great place to grow up.
This "forest" we spent time exploring and rode bikes down the paths and played with GI Joes.
Oh the great memories.
