Geocache Description:

All around the world Geocachers have coordinated a 15 minute meeting that will happen at the same time on this day to bring Geocachers together and introduce others (newbies) to the world of Geocachers. The event will last EXACTLY 15 minutes, not one second longer.

The Time: 6:00PM-6:15PM according to the GPS clock
The Location: Paddling Pool in Carlisle Park, Morpeth
The Theme : Paddle PARTY- Bring your favorite beach gear ,sandals or just roll your pants up!!

A flash mob is a term used to denote a group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform an unusual and sometimes seemingly pointless act for a brief time, then disperse, often for the purposes of entertainment and/or satire. The first flash mob was created in Manhattan May 2003, by Bill Wasik.
The first World Wide Flash Mob (WWFM) event was the Worldwide Pillow Fight Day (or International Pillow Fight Day) that took place on March 22, 2008. Over 25 cities around the globe participated in the first "international flash mob", which was the world's largest flash mob to date.

This Event is part of the Tenth Annual World Wide Flash Mob Event (Hundreds of events all around the world will be coordinated to happen at the same time). At 1pm EDT people all over the world will assemble in pre arranged groups, do something meaningless and disperse into the distance!

Stay away from Ground Zero until 5:59PM. Play on the swings or walk around the park, you need to act like you don't know anyone. At 5:59PM - Make your way to GZ still acting like you don't know anyone.

The Timeline:
6:00PM - 6:05PM - To log your attendance, you must use a piece of paper (about 4" x 1" is perfect) with your Geocaching name and given name printed on it.
Make sure you add it to the Container which will be placed in the middle of the paddling pool!!! .
6:05PM -6:12PM -Group Photo with everyone modeling their knobbly knees
6:12PM - 6:14PM -Draw a name for FTF, and Do any necessary CITO
6:14PM-6:15PM - Dry your feet then disperse quickly
6:15PM - Everyone has left the area

If your not from the area there are loads of nice caches in and around Morpeth to keep you happy leading upto the event,

Carlisle Park Explorer

GC3KP72 will keep most cachers happy for a couple of hours

After the event is over plan to meet up in the Electric Wizard for a chat and TB swapping/logging and drink or 2 (soft drink if your driving), though it is not necessary to atend this to claim the WWFM X event but it would be nice to have a chat with cachers new and old !

We are sure there will be several muggles nearby who will wonder "What have I just seen? What has just happened?" (That's part of the fun of a Flash Mob!) Difficulty rating of 2 reflects the 15 minute allotted time period in which we have to pull off this Flash Mob. Be on time and be ready to play! If you aren't prompt you could miss it. If everything goes right we will have several people converging on one spot for a 15 minute geocaching event and then disappearing.
This will be a lot of fun and maybe even raise a few muggle eyebrows.

Be sure to submit your "attended" log within 2 weeks of the event, in order to receive a special Geocaching.com WWFM X SOUVENIR.
