What is the WWFM X event? It’s the 10th annual worldwide Geocaching event that lasts exactly 15 minutes -- no more, no less. More than 400 events in 30 countries will all occur on the same day.
What is the WBDGW? It's the 23rd annual worldwide Disc Golf event to introduce this inexpensive sport to our friends and community. We chase another kind of plastic in the woods!
Why do it? For the fun of it, of course! Geocachers logging an “Attended” will receive a WWFM Geocaching souvenir on their profile page. You must be present and sign the event log between 10:00 am and 10:15 am to claim the event. Try your hand at Disc Golf!
SCHEDULE: 9:45 am Find a parking spot just outside the park and mosey around.
10:00 am Gather at ground zero. Mingle. Borrow a disc and practice your Disc Golf putt. Sign the event log!
10:10 am Assemble for the group photo and listen for directions for the Disc Golf "Ring of Fire" putting game.
10:14 am One-minute warning will be called. Prepare to leave. Gather your stuff and perform a CITO of the area.
10:15 am LEAVE the area. Go Geocaching! Hike the trails! Play a few holes of Disc Golf! Log sheets will be packed away.
Thanks for being such good sports about trying Disc Golf!
