When the Kid Finders were younger, we spent a lot of time at the park. Now that they're older, their interests have turned more towards digital entertainment. They stiil enjoy playing on the playground though and we've added more family-fun activities - like Geocaching! There a $1 coin for the FTF! Enjoy this cache and the park. BYOP!
UPDATE 4/15/17: When I originally placed this cache, I was thinking of all the other finder families out there with little ones who are more interested in the playground at the park than finding a cache. We typically avoided park caches at the time because the adults wanted to go find the cache but the kids wanted to play. And usually, park caches are not placed near the playgrounds because of the muggle risk. So I placed this cache within sight of the playground so to help all family members happy. Kids could play while adults found a cache and could still keep an eye on their little ones. It lasted for a while, but, unfortunately kept getting muggled. Last time I checked on the cache, I noticed the walking path around the perimeter of the park. I decided to move it down the path a little. It goes against my original intention, but it's still kid-friendly. I used a little of the dead leaves, etc. to hide the container a little better, please help me keep this one going by doing the same. Thanks to everyone who's found it in the past and to future finders: have fun (and bring your own pen).
UPDATE 9/4/2020 Dang Muggles. I've replaced it at least 3 times at the location I put it in April 2017, but it keeps getting muggled. Hopefully this new location will last longer. It's still in the park area, but on the other side. For you newer geocachers, this type of hide is often called a "booger." You may not see it, but you should feel it.
