This little park at the edge of Doylestown and New Britain township was originally part of Barton's Ford. "Crazy Tom" Barton dreamed of creating a fortified castle on the steep slopes of the Neshaminy Creek; he died in 1768 never completing his task.
After Team Ducky archived their "Baby Geese of Castle Valley" cache, we didn't want this location to go too long without a cache and we promptly put up in "Castle Wall". After three years, "Castle Wall" was archived for safety reasons, primarily due to decaying of the wall in which it was hidden. Again, we didn't want this location to go empty for long. While wondering through the park we noticed something familiar. This wooded area has many bunches of Daffodils growing wildly about, including next to the rocks near this cache - a sequel to it's namesake.
Bring a writing utensil for signing the log. Be sure the cache is securely in its hide location. Beware of wild rose bushes and steep slope to the creek below. I didn't see any poison ivy when placing the cache and performing maintenance, but keep a look out for it too!
Please observe this park's posted hours of Dawn to Dusk.
Congratulations to Double D and Family for getting the first to find!
If you are on the private property south of the parking lot, you're looking in the wrong place.
Check the satellite imagery if your GPS receiver is bouncing too much and has mislead you.
There is a nearby QR-code piece if you play.
