Geocache Description:

The cache is a micro within a well camouflaged container.
The cache is named for my grandfather, Steve Hancock  a truly decent family man who I admired greatly and who was my role-model and hero as I grew up. I chose this place because he loved to walk his dog here and collect horse ‘muck’ for his beloved garden.

Situated in the Parish of St.John and with views of both of Laughton’s picturesque churches, this cache resides on the common land (Known locally as 'The Goss') between the villages of Dinnington and Laughton. This ancient common land hides a secret pathway of 'stepping stones' - apparently laid there by Ciscercian Monks in the 12th century (although this could be just local legend). Follow in the footsteps of the monks...but don't get your feet wet! Watch out for thorns and brambles and don't stray into the field. The cache contains a small log, a pencil and a pencil sharpener. No room for swaps.
