World Wide Flash Mob X - May the Fourth be with You And it just happens to be on STAR WARS DAY!.



What is it: The WWFM started as an idea with the American geocaching podcast - PodCacher, and are a series of 15 minutes events happening at the same time around the world. .

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away…..

It is a dark time for the Rebellion. Imperial troops have driven the Rebel forces from their base, and pursued them across the galaxy. Evading the dreaded Imperial Starfleet, a group of Rebels, led by Stillroaming, have established a new secret base at a remote outpost called Castletown.



What to bring: A LIGHT SABRE! Better known as a TORCH in the Isle of Man .

Please bring a card along with your Caching name on it and place it in the bucket as there will no official log book.

The plan of action:

1. Use the Force (or follow your GPS) to find Castletown Square. Get there early and act like a muggle before the event starts. Keep your light sabres hidden!:

2. At the stroke of 18.00 hours we will approach GZ and blow a whistle. This is the cue for the Flash Mob to begin. Light Sabres! (TORCHES) at the ready we will all shine them at the SMELT MONUMENT. Swing your light sabres from side to side. Please try not to do any permanent damage to any nearby Jedi’s or Siths.

3. At 18.01 the whistle will blow again, and the light show will be over. Then please make your way to GZ and place your prepared caching name card in the bucket. The first name out will have the rights to the FTF log.

4. At 18.10 a group photo will take place.

5. At 18.15 Disperse into the outer reaches of the Galaxy, or to any nearby establishment for further geochat!.

All are welcome especially anyone new to Geocaching.
