Geocache Description:

You are looking for a micro container, so look carefully. GZ is in the wide open spaces (figuratively speaking: this is the midwest where you can see forever, so to speak) and it abounds with muggles, and there is nothing but your innate stealth ability to hide your activity. BYOP.

The coordinates are the result of a 100 sample average on a Garmin GPSMAP 60CSx.

Congratulations to wstrinz for their very first FTF!!

"Dreamkeepers" is a thirty foot metal sculpture, commissioned by Don Warren and designed by Doc Evermore (Tom Every). The sculpture was originally called The Love Birds because of the shape of their necks from the right angle forms a heart. It is also known as "The most photographed sculpture in Madison."

The sculpture is made from materials from Madison businesses, including Warren Heating and Air Conditioning (tin snips that form the beaks, blowers that are the bodies of the birds and still turn on a windy day), The Badger Drive-in (the legs that held up the drive in movie screen), and Fiskers (the wings made of hedge clipper blades).

If you enjoy these birds, you might want to visit Dr. Evermor's Art Park on Highway 12 in Sumpter, between Madison and Baraboo, across from the old (and currently being demolished) Badger Army Ammunition Plant. The park is home to some of the largest and most interesting, if not beautiful, scrap metal sculptures in the world. They include gigantic insects (the "Juicer Bug" and "Arachna Artie"), the "Epicurean" bellows-driven barbecue train, "The Dragon", and "The UFO". The most numerous sculptures are the "Bird Band and Orchestra" As well you will find the "Celestial Listening Ear" and the "Overlord Master Control Tower", along with Dr. Evermor's "Forevertron", the largest such sculpture in the world, which stands 50 ft. (15,2 m.) high and 120 ft. (36,5 m.) wide, and weighs 300 tons.
