Tiffany Twisted Traditional Cache
US Citizen: They still have all the bricks stacked up next to where I had the cache. They're gonna do something over there, probably involving the stairs. Maybe they're waiting for the sunny season, which is now. I will be gone in a few months anyway. Just archiving it now. Tired of waiting on them to do something with the bricks.

The Eagles released "Hotel California" December 8, 1976. A very popular song and very popular album, which sold over 32 Million copies worldwide. The song lyrics mention a couple terms that left most people stumped, one of which was "Tiffany Twisted" and the other "Colitas".
It's reported that the term "Tiffany Twisted" refers to a rich girl who happens to be addicted to Tiffanyis Jewelry store. However, I just happen to have the inside scoop. "Tiffany Twisted" actually refers to the transgender, ladyboys, shemales in Pattaya that participate in Miss Tiffany Universe contest. You can often hear a straight heterosexual refer to the transgender as "Twisted" or "sick". Don Henley, lead singer for the Eagles, decided upon "Tiffany Twisted" because he was here on vacation and like the sound of it. Ok, maybe not. Maybe I just made all that up.
Colitas was originally translated from spanish to mean the smell of a powerful marijuana bud being smoked (or something like that). Great news. I just got off the phone with Joe Walsh, another band member of the Eagles and he says it has nothing to do with marijuana.... and he should know. If you happen to come across a ladyboy in Thailand, you might think you just got a "warm smell of Colitas" rising up through the air, Your head might grow heavy and your sights grow dim, feel free to stop for a show on any given night. The Good news is that Joe Walsh also confirmed that "Colitas" was the the name of the Thai Perfume ladyboys wore back in the mid 1970s. There's always the chance I misdialed and that wasn't Joe Walsh from the Eagles that I spoke to on the phone. Either way, you now have a couple options to choose from as to the origin of Colitas. Folks, there you have it, the other word that tends to throw people off on the terminology (Colitas).
Miss Tiffany Universe 2013 takes place on 3 May 2013, here in Pattaya at the Tiffany's Show Pattaya Co., LTD, on 2nd Road. Tiffany's has been hosting this event for quite some time, since 1998 or 1999.. I think there is even a Miss Tiffany Thailand too, but it didn't show up on google but some images did. When the actual Miss Tiffany Universe contest is over and it's a year until the next contest, they hold shows featuring Transvestites most every night (6p, 7:30p, and 9p). Price starts at 500, 800 and 1000 or 1200 Thai Baht. Tiffany's uses the word Transvestite on their website but let us call them for what they are and that is "Female Impersonators".
The funny part is that I came down earlier in the day to check on pricing for the show and moved the cache and I noticed a pizza shop next door. I came back tonight to buy a pizza next door and the shop on the other side of the pizza place was playing Hotel California. What are the odds? Anyway, I'm not endorsing the pizza restaurant next door, just that I could hear the Eagles Hotel California song while I was there and just after having written up the cache page using it (Hotel California) as a reference and theme for the cache. Quite frankly, I didn't enjoy the pizza nor the Tiramisu, You're better off going to another pizza restaurant.
I forgot the pricing and went over to double check and all the girls were out front and dressed like princess dolls. Some looked great while others struggled to get it right. Sometimes less is more. Hundreds of tourists were out taking their pics. Maybe I will go back later and add some pics.
Miss Tiffany Universe tickets are approximately 1800 - 2800 Thai Baht.
Oh, if you decide to go to one of the shows, I don't recommend you ordering "Pink Champagne On Ice," you might get 3 female impersonators (ladyboys) named "Pink", "Champagne", and "Ice".
One last thing to remember: "We are all just prisoners here of our own device". And by device, I mean GPSr (geocaching).
