Geocache Description:

Florida Welcomes You is a series of Geocaches located on the east side of the canal between the Allanburg Bridge and the Port Robinson ferry. You can park on the west side by the bridge at N 43° 04.572 W 079° 12.685. There is parking available on the east side by the Ferry dock at N 43° 04.225 W 079° 12.610

After doing the series you can catch the ferry and return along the paved Canal Parkway Trail. You can cache your way back to the Allanburg Bridge parking lot.

Lionfish are an invasive species that threaten Florida’s saltwater fish and wildlife. FWC encourages people to remove lionfish in Florida waters to limit negative impacts to native fish and wildlife. Lionfish can be speared, caught in hand-held nets or caught on hook and line.
