Another cacher has reached that milestone where a comma and a fourth digit is added to the cacher’s number of finds. Mia 87, the lady with the butterfly stamp, has made that step up towards cacher infamy; kinda like graduating from the group of wanting to learn about this thing called caching to actually doing the caching.
In 1,000 finds you have likely encountered a few ticks, a little mud, some spiders and maybe a snake or crazed crack head along the way. Might have even fallen into a grave where a casket has rotted and the ground given way. Maybe you don’t get as concerned about muddy footprints on the carpet in the car, or being seen in your night gown as you pursue a FTF at midnight. Now a comment like “ Need to stop at the drug store and get some more calamine lotion; I’ve been caching again” does not seem unusual.
Join us in welcoming Terry, or as we may know her, Mia 87, to the land of the comma. We will gather at a new eating joint in town, Cheddars, at 6:30, to fill the golden ammo box with nearly worthless trinkets that mean so much to all of us.
