Welcome to the Severson Dells Forest Preserve!

2 rules about hunting caches in this preserve: No caching after dusk, and no pets allowed. Please follow these rules and everyone can have fun!

This cache is placed with permission from the Winnebago County Forest Preserve District which was granted to me with the issuance of permit # 2235.

Most of the caches in this forest preserve have been placed within 100 feet of a well established trail, but there are a few that are exceptions. Please come prepared to walk at least 3 miles if you plan on clearing out the whole park while you're here. If you find anything wrong with any of these hides (wet log, broken container, etc.) please make sure to let me know so that I can make repairs.

This cache is placed in recognition of the 3,000th find for RebelGTP and Smufy98. They both hit the milestone at the same time when they made the trip to St. Louis for the St. Louis Arch Virtual Cache.  Enjoy the hike!
