This is placed to honor my dad, Ted Belanger. He was a good father and husband of 62 years, father to 3 (I'm the oldest), grandfather to 9, great-grandfather to 2 (my oldest son's boys). He was also a fellow military Veteran of the Korean War (even though he didn't see combat there).
Dad & my oldest Niece, Keri.
The insignia around the border of this page is of dad's old unit, the 1903rd Aviation Engineers Battalion (SCARWAF - Special Category Army Reassigned With the Air Force); they designed & built the airfields for the Air Force in Korea. Dad was the Company's Armorer.
Past Commander, Franco-American War Veterans, Post #22, Bristol, CT
When he was growing up, his nickname was "Petit Lune" (Little Moon") - slangly pronounced, "tsee leuhn". He passed away on 4/14/2013.
