A wonderful outing! Parking spot is within 200 feet of cache and location is a wonderful spot for a picnic or campsite.
Ever since I started geocaching, this site has been the only spot in mind to place my first cache. With 4 full campsite spots nearby, it is a most excellent place to spend the day for a picnic, quick pick up, or overnight camp. When you're there, you'll most likely see many trout jumping in the river (or lake depending on who you talk to). My 5-year-old and I placed this cache here so you can guarantee it has all sorts of goodies for children in it. Being that this is my first hidden cache, I happily welcome suggestive commentary on my choice of placement. *updated terrain rating due to variances in tide depending on the time of day*
