Take a walk in the Waiawi forest under a moonlit sky...how romantic.
This is my second night time cache that will take you into the dark waiawi forest.
The Hawaiian Rainforest has always been a special place for me growing up as a child in Hilo.
The sights and sounds are wonder on the senses.....now you can hear what it sounds like at night!
Insects and couqis sing to you and sights unseen put you on the edge.
I had a lot of fun testing this cache out.My team and I saw a family of pigs and the forest had a different life to it at night.
Like my previous NIGHTCACHE, please remember these few hints:
A few things will be required to do this:
1. A flashlight to spot the FIRETacks( all are about my eye level, I'm 5'7).
2. Bring a friend, Don't do it alone.
3. A good pair of shoes
4. Mosquito repellent( this is Hilo)
5. Guts and a Sense of Adventure.
The trailhead for this cache is located off the Puainako extension. There is a small parking area that can hold a few cars.PLEASE BE CAREFUL and TAKE IT SLOW.,,aloha! Please put back the cache exactly as you find it and PLEASE NO SPOILERS!!
