Bring a picnic, take all litter home.
The suggested parking is a grass strip at the side of the road just wide enough for a car and at the entrance to the public footpath, and really only big enough for one car. It should be OK for short term parking, but I would not come planning to leave a vehicle here all day.
If you are walking from the suggested parking, you'll first go through a field with a brick stable. I found the cache location a few years ago when this field and stable came up for sale. I had a plan to put some barn doors on the stable, and then kit it out with my bbq for sunny summer days and tranquility In the end I didn't pursue the purchase, but I do still enjoy coming back here from time to time.
As you get to the end of the field, you'll go through a gate and then take the right fork through the trees. After a few meters you'll exit the trees and then be greeted with the view which made me set the cache in this location. Enjoy!
The cache is still a little way down the slope. Sitting on the side of the hill here would be a very nice spot for a picnic, actually I realised Poppys Picnic would have made a better cache name after we left.
