The cache is not at the published co-ords – they are for just one of the many places you can park to complete this cache.
The cache will take you on a tour of about a mile round these charming adjoining hamlets of Dinton and Westlington, collecting information along the way. You should allow about an hour for your quest.
You can collect some of the information by car if you must, bearing in mind the narrow and restricted village lanes, and other information can be Googled if you feel so inclined, but the recommended method is to park up where suggested and complete on foot.
All the information can be obtained from the public highway or open access areas; there is no need to venture onto private property. Unless you have internet access out in the field, you may want to do some internet research on location 9 before you leave home!
With the exception of Stage 2 (relocated October 2018) the locations below are listed in a logical order if you park as suggested, but it makes no difference in what order you visit them. Please be respectful of local residents, and keep children and dogs under proper control.
To find the cache, you will need to visit the locations and obtain various letters, words or phrases. For each letter of each answer cross off one corresponding letter in the grid below. The six letters remaining are then converted into numbers to give the coordinates for the final cache.

You will need to print off this grid and take it with you!
You should now be left with six unused letters in the grid. Each of these needs to be converted to a number in the time honoured way A=1, B=2, C=3 etc. In the case of double digit numbers, ignore the leading digit. So you should now have six numbers, some of which may be repeated. Are you still with me?
These can now be converted to the co-ords for the location of the cache. Call the lowest number v and then sequentially up to the highest which will be z, repeating letters for duplicate numbers (zero counts low).
