Geocache Description:

Tafv (pronouced tah-vuh) Falls is located deep within the eastern side of Busiek State Forest, south of Woods Fork Creek.  Tafv is my youngest daughter's middle name, and is the Creek Indian word for feather. This cache is a park and hike, and your round trip trek will be anywhere from 1.5 miles 3.0 miles, depending on which parking lot you choose to begin your journey.  Some bushwacking may be necessary.

This waterfall may not be flowing during dry spells.  In fact, the best time to visit this waterfall is after or even during a heavy rain, especially during winter or early spring.  It really is a scenic spot any time of year, but when the water is flowing it really a special place.

You are seeking a regular sized, lock-n-lock container containing a few trade items, a logbook, and a pen.  This cache is hidden in a straightforward manor, but there are many hiding spots in the immediate area, so you may have to spend a few minutes searching.

I hope you enjoy this area, and I hope you enjoy finding the cache.

CACHE PLACED WITH PERMISSION AND A PERMIT FROM THE MISSOURI DEPARTMENT OF CONSERVATION.

AREA OPENED FROM 4:00 AM TO 10:00 PM.  PLEASE RESPECT THOSE HOURS.
