ABOVE COORDINATES ARE BOGUS!
PLEASE DO NOT HUNT FOR THIS CACHE AT NIGHT!
This cache page is Natural Reader compatible for the visually impaired!

The movie entitled "9", which was released on September 9 2009, is an American computer animated Science-Fiction action and adventure film directed by Shane Acker and produced by Tim Burton and Timur Bekmambetov. A Scientist invents nine creations, named Stitchpunks, in an attempt to thwart the corrupt and warlike BRAIN, an abbreviation for Binary Reactive Artificially Intelligent Neurocircuit, a thinking robot, hoping they would continue the spark of life. Each of his creations contains a portion of his human soul, embodying both his good qualities and his flaws. He uses a talisman to transfer his soul and supply each with life, but as a result, he dies soon afterwards.
Stitchpunks.
The secret to my cache is the old adage of W.Y.S.I.W.Y.G., which means "What You See Is What You Get". If you are able to solve the mystery of it, then you will be seeking a very well hidden and Camouflaged Lock-N-Lock container. Otherwise, you may need to seek help at: North forty-seven decimal five, eight, two, nine, five, degrees at West one-hundred and twenty-two decimal six, two, five, one, five, degrees. For the record, there is an easy way and a hard way to my cache site. Therefore, I suggest you choose wisely! There is a First To Find Prize, which is a Portable Grundig Twelve Band A M, F M and Shortwave Radio with a Carry-Case. A pair of double-A batteries are required, but they are Not Included. GOOD LUCK and HAPPY HUNTING!

And Now For Something Completely Different!

The Drake Equation.
N, equals, R*, times, f sub p, times, n sub e, times, f sub l, times, f sub i, times, f sub c, times, L.

  • N, equals the number of civilizations in our galaxy with which communication might be possible.
  • R *, equals the average number of star formation per year in our galaxy.
  • f sub p, equals the fraction of those stars that have planets.
  • n sub e, equals the average number of planets that can potentially support life per star that has planets.
  • f sub l, equals the fraction of the above that actually go on to develop life at some point.
  • f sub i, equals the fraction of the above that actually go on to develop intelligent life (i.e. civilizations).
  • f sub c, equals the fraction of civilizations that develop a technology that releases detectable signs of their existence into space.
  • L, equals the length of time for which such civilizations release detectable signals into space.
  • NOTE: Drake states that given the uncertainties, the original meeting concluded that N is approximately equal to L, and there were probably between 1000 and 100,000,000 civilizations in the galaxy.
