Geocache Description:

 ENGLISH

Lake "Iskar" in the residential district Druzhba 1 is a great place for recreation, sport and recreation in the heart of the concrete jungle.

The lake was formed in the early 80s of last century. This place is mined aggregates of intensive development in the area. Trench formed is rapidly filled with water and became a lake with an unsupported vertical shores and unpleasant surroundings. Gradually, the place is cultivated today is a true oasis. Around the lake is shaped pedestrian clean and well maintained paths. There are enough trees that cast a pleasant shade on the many benches along the banks. Eber passes over a wide bridge and the east coast has a church and a chapel.

In the tradition has become the rite of Jordan, who for several years held the lake. The pond is popular among fishermen who are happy to spend their time off with his fishing rod in hand.

Езерото "Искър" в столичния квартал Дружба 1 е едно чудесно място за отдих, спорт и почивка в сърцето на бетонната джунгла.

Езерото се образува в началото на 80-те години на миналия век. На това място се добиват инертни материали за усиленото строителство в района. Образувалият се изкоп бързо се запълва с вода и се превръща в неподдържана водна площ с отвесни брегове и неприятна околност. Постепенно мястото е облагородено и днес е истински оазис. Около езерото е оформена пешеходна зона с чисти и добре поддържани алеи. Има достатъчно дървета, които хвърлят приятна сянка върху множеството пейки край бреговете. Над еверото минава широк мост, а на източния бряг има православен храм и параклис.

В традиция се превърна обредът за Йордановден, който от няколко години се провежда на езерото. Водоемът е известен и сред рибарите, които с удоволствие прекарват свободното си време край бреговете му с въдица в ръка.
